How to share a VPN Connection over Wi-Fi on a Windows PC

It is possible to set up a Windows PC to act as a wireless router to share its VPN connection with other devices that do not have built-in VPN. This can be convenient if, for example, you want to watch American Netflix on your Smart TV, PlayStation, or other devices.

The first step is to connect your Windows PC to a VPN.

Then download this file on your PC: ShareWiFi.bat

Right-click the file, select "Run as Administrator". Follow the instructions in Command Prompt.

When the Network Connections window appears, you'll find the connection that has the subtitle "TAP-Windows Adapter". Right-click this and select "Properties".

Click the "Sharing" tab. Check "Allow other network users to connect through this computer's Internet connection." Select the new connection from the drop-down menu. In this case, it is called "Local Area Connection* 13".

Click OK and return to the Command Prompt window. Press any key to finish the setup.

The name of the WiFi network and password is displayed. To stop WiFi sharing, press any key.
